A short note about my journey to get here…I completed my BA (Hons) Economics in 1997, then decided to leave the North East for the Isle of Man, where I pursued a career with a multi-national steel trading company. After ten years working in both the Isle of Man and London, I decided that it was time to follow my own passion and become a fitness professional. I completed the Certificate III and IV in Fitness with the Australian Institute of Fitness in Brisbane, Queensland, and became a fully qualified Personal Trainer.
I am passionate about exercise and helping others achieve their physical goals. I understand that balancing your work and home life is a challenge facing many of us today. The essence of my Personal Training means just that, it is PERSONAL, adapted to suit your schedules, health and fitness levels, location and goals. Whether you want to train before work, on your lunch break or after the kids have gone to bed, it is entirely up to you!
To ensure you get the most out of your sessions, my programmes are varied and specifically catered for your enjoyment so that you do not become disenchanted and give up as so many do. Together we will work through any ‘challenges’ and keep you on target with your health and fitness objectives.
More importantly, I can help you to help yourself – all I need is your time, commitment and the desire to achieve YOUR goal(s).
My commitment to you does not end at the same time as each training session – you will be provided with a weekly fitness plan with clear targets and goals, and I am always on call to give you guidance, advice, support and motivation, no matter what the time of day.
When I am not training others, I can be found on my mountain or road bike, pounding the pavement in my running trainers, or practicing what I preach in the gym. I do, however, enjoy the simple pleasures in life such as relaxing, socialising and watching NCIS with a cup of hot choccie!
